General Information 

Ace Parade is the trading name for Ace Parade Rally Ltd who is the organiser (the Organiser). Ace Parade events (the Event) are not a races or competitions. You must not compete with other drivers in any manner. In particular, you must not race with other drivers. You must not place any bets of any kind in relation to Ace Parade Rally Ltd, the Organisers or the Event. You must drive safely and with proper courtesy to all other participants and members of the public. Anyone caught racing on the public highway in any country on route will be excluded from further participation in the event immediately. No refunds will be made, and all privileges will be withdrawn. The Event takes place exclusively on private properties, each participant is directly responsible for their behaviours in public space. Ace Parade Rally Ltd is about building a community dedicated to passionate drivers. 

  

Entry Fee 

The Entry Fee to the Event are defined as per prices stated on the website. Entry Fees must be paid in full to the Organiser before the event starts. Non-payment will result in the Organiser removing any rights of entry to any and all Event. 

 

Cancellation 

The Organiser will cancel any team who have not given their full entry information. This information consists of passenger names, vehicle make and model, vehicle registration details and anything else required by the Organiser in the application form. 

  

​ Ace Parade Event 

Throughout the Event there will be evening activities along the way. These activities are for you to meet up with each other, share experiences. Attendance is solely the choice of each participant. You will need to bring a valid form of ID to all parties and we ask that you dress smart. You must make clear to the Organiser any dietary requirements and we will reasonably attempt to cater for you. The Organiser does not guarantee that any food the Organiser provide will be completely free from traces of allergens, which may still be present in food. The Organiser do not guarantee that you will receive your chosen room type as this is strictly subject to availability from the hotel. The Organiser do not accept responsibility for any losses arising from such matters. 

 

Compliance 

You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the Country in which you are travelling, especially all speed regulations and laws, and the driving code in every country you drive in, laws relating to the safety of your vehicle and laws relating to the possession or use of alcohol, drugs or other prohibited substances. If you breach any applicable laws, the Organiser reserves the right to prohibit you from participating further in the Event and future Event. You must participate in the Event in the vehicle you stated you would when complete the entry form. You will only be able to participate in another vehicle subject to consent from the Organiser (which it is entitled to hold in its absolute discretion). If the Organiser does not consent to you participating in a vehicle other than the one stated in the entry form, you shall be refused access to further participating at the Event and future Event (and you shall not be entitled to a refund of your Entry Fee). The person(s) entering the Event must participate at the Event. Any non-participation the Event must be made known to the Organiser prior to the non-participation. If for whatever reason you are unable to participate, your entry place is not transferable in any circumstances whatsoever. 

  

Responsibility 

The Organiser accepts no responsibility or liability for the consequences of you being refused passage and/or entry/exit to or from any Country visited on route. Any additional costs incurred are your own responsibility and the Organiser reserves the right to recover any fees incurred arising out of your actions. You will need to have valid and proper insurance for your vehicle covering the Country that the Event is travelling through. You must also provide vehicle registration plates for both the front and rear of your vehicle. Failure to do so may prevent access to countries the Event participates in. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and your vehicle are compliant with locally applicable laws along the route (including weight limit, country road tax, width, height, lighting and visibility). All drivers must carry their full driving license, vehicle registration documents relevant to the country of registration, proof of vehicle tax and insurance and any necessary certificates and/or consents for use of the vehicle on public roads within the country of registration (where relevant). All information that the Organiser requests from you in relation to your own personal details and those of your vehicle must be accurate and complete in all material respects and by signing this document you agree that it is in its entirety. 

 

Conduct 

You must conduct yourself appropriately at all times and abide by all the rules of the hotels, restaurants, clubs, private property and any other venues used during the Event. When checking-in to all accommodation a credit card and ID must be provided as a security guarantee against any and all additional hotel charges whatever they may be and any damage to the hotel property. Any such costs incurred MUST be paid by you before checking-out of accommodation or such costs will be debited from your credit card automatically or the accommodation will invoice you the costs. The Organiser will not be liable to pay your costs under any circumstances. 

 

Personal Acquisitions 

The Entry Fee into the Event does NOT include personal acquisitions, fuel, telephone bills or any other expenses incurred while staying in any of the hotels, fines of any sort, or damage caused at any venue visited. You will be responsible for paying any extra fee incurred. All participants are responsible for their own shipping to the start line and home from the finish line of the Event.

Intoxicating Substances 

You must NOT consume alcohol while driving. You must NOT drive under the influence of alcohol or any other intoxicating substance at any time. You must NOT consume any illegal substances at any time during the Event. If the Organiser finds you under the influence of alcohol while driving or attempting to drive or under the influence of any illegal or intoxicating substances the Organiser reserves the right to prohibit you from participating further to the Event.

Driving License, Passport and Insurance 

You MUST hold a current, valid and unrestricted driver’s license that will be accepted in any and all countries the Event takes part in. You are responsible for making sure your licence permits you to drive your vehicle. You must hold a current and valid passport or current and valid national ID card for entry into countries the Event participates in. You are responsible for obtaining any travel visas required for countries the Event visits. You are responsible for making sure your vehicle/s used at the Event are properly, taxed, compliant with European Union Directive 2014/45/EU on periodic vehicle checks (MOT, Vehicle Contrôle Technique, or equivalent) or compliant with laws concerning vehicle inspections from the participant’s country of origin and covered by insurance for use on the public roads including usage in the European Union. The Organiser will not be responsible for any tax, periodic vehicle checks or insurance contravention or any other requirements to drive your vehicle. If you are found to be in breach of tax, MOT or insurance laws and regulations or any other requirements to drive your vehicle the Organiser reserves the right to prohibit you from participating further to the Event or future Event. The Organiser will not accept responsibility for accidents that occur on private or public roads including track day Event. 

 

Force Majeure 

The Organiser, partners, sponsors, advisors and consultants are not responsible if they cannot fulfil their obligations resulting from this contract in cases of fire, earthquake, epidemic diseases, flood, aridity, strike, lightning, war in the country, revolution, civil war, terrorist activities and similar troubles, blockade, embargo, confiscation and expropriation, pandemics, epidemics, illness of the Organiser, illness of any participants in the Event, government intervention and in other cases defined as Force Majeure by any applicable laws and regulations. If the Organiser acting reasonably decides to cancel the Event either before or during the Event  due to an incident (such as for example, a death or serious injury in connection with the event, or an event that otherwise naturally detracts from the Event), such event will be considered to be a force majeure situation in accordance with this Clause and the Organiser will have no liability to refund the Entry Fee or any part of it.

Branding 

You agree to have the Ace Parade logo and all Official Partners and Sponsors stickers attached to your vehicle during the entire Event. You are not entitled to spoil or to cover-up such stickers and you shall endeavour to keep them clean and visible at all times. Stickers are not permanent and easily removable without damaging vehicle finishes. The Organiser will therefore not be responsible for claims of damage to vehicle finishes as a result of the application or removal of stickers. 

 

Personal Sponsorship 

Personal sponsorship for your vehicle or your clothing is only permitted if you obtain prior written consent from the Organiser. Subject to obtaining prior written consent from the Organiser as to the identity of your personal sponsor or sponsors, you will be entitled to place your own sponsor or sponsors names, marks and/or logos only on your vehicle or your clothing provided that your sponsors do not compete or conflict with the Organiser’s official sponsors. If you wish to place your own personal sponsorship you should submit a written request for permission to do so at least 30 days prior to the beginning of the event. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse unauthorized sponsored vehicles. 

  

Refunds 

NO refunds of any kind including the Entry Fee will be made under any circumstances if you are unable to participate for any reason. Once an Entry Fee has been paid, this fee is non-transferable to any other future edition of Ace Parade or any other teams. 

  

Copyright 

By accepting Terms & Conditions below you are agreeing that you will not organise or invest in a similar event which replicates Ace Parade or any of its unique features. Doing so will result in legal action by the Organiser and you will remain liable for any and all costs incurred on a full indemnity basis. 

  

Violation of Terms 

If you violate any of the above terms and conditions or refuse to follow instructions given to you by the Organiser or any of its agents or representatives you may be prohibited from any further participation in the event.

Image rights 

You recognise and give permission to be photographed and also to be a part of any filming or video footage carried out during the event. You give permission to the use of your name, image, likeness, voice and biographical material about you in association with any footage, publicity and related promotional material and for any publicity and marketing functions.

Media Appearances 

You shall not be entitled to arrange or conduct any media appearances or make statements to the press relating to your participation in the event without obtaining the prior written consent of the Organiser. In the event that any press statements or media appearances are issued or required in any way in connection with your participation in the event, you will co-operate fully with the Organiser in such activities. Violating any Ace Parade image will result in legal action. 

  

Communication Channels 

Publishing defamatory, misleading messages or any other media materials about Ace Parade, its Organiser or the Event on any type of communication channels, either public or private is forbidden. Defaming the integrity of Ace Parade, its Organiser or the Event will result in legal action.

Terms and Conditions changes 

The Organiser has the right to change these terms and conditions subject to informing you about the modifications. You shall be considered to have approved the changed terms and conditions by taking part in the event.

Applicable Law 

These terms and conditions and your participation in the event are governed by English law and shall have jurisdiction in the courts of England and Wales.

Trademark 

Ace Parade, the Ace Parade logo, all media and marketing are trademarks of Ace Parade Rally LTD and none of these can be copied or reproduced in any shape or form, including printed material or virtually including websites or in digital form.
